Lima, Feb. 07 (ANDINA).- Deputy Labor Minister Javier Barreda said that the European Union-Latin America and the Caribbean (EU-LAC) meeting on social cohesion, which will be held in Lima on February 8-10, will seek to establish guidelines to face the post crisis phase from the youth’s labor perspective.
He mentioned that this important meeting aims to evaluate policies and programs implemented for young people in the EU-LAC countries.
Likewise, it seeks to reach a consensus for the establishment of future public policies, aimed to this important sector of the population.
“The EU-LAC meeting in Lima should create common guidelines so young people can face the end of the international crisis in better conditions, as well as new tendencies of the global economy,” Barreda said.
He added that this meeting will also work to establish public policies that allow people to face the effects of the international crisis that might happen in the future.
